…of yarns and fiber!
the top left pic is the yarn I sent to my swappee for the Spin Me a Treasure yarn swap. Norma enjoyed it so much that she ordered a couple hundred more yards of it, and exhausted my stash of yellow recycled silk. Thanks, Norma! I can’t wait to see the finished coat (the yarn, “Sunken Treasure,” will be the collar).
Bottom left is my little bean modeling his kick-ass Monster Hat, made from a Monster Hat knit kit by Insubordiknit. Thanks for the fabulous barter, Jacey!
On the right are some mittens made with misshawklet yarns and a felted bag with misshawklet and Peace Fleece yarns. Finally, some mittens that fit my odd little thumbs (yeah, yeah, where’s the picture? i’ll have to get the fella to take that one…they’re much cuter when they’re next to each other).
Still on the needles: the Perfect Pie shawl from Weekend Knitting and the cabled mohair sweater from Alterknits. Neither of these are knit in the mohair called for, but rather the brushed suri from Blue Sky Alpacas. yum!
Okay, back to working on goodies for the website. Ooh, and I think there might be some natural light for a few minutes, so must take yarn pics. I’ll post some teasers of what will be for sale when the shop opens asap…
