Mornings. And rambling.

Sometimes my little goat likes to make his own breakfast.

…and it’s serious business. No helping!

From this morning:

Uncle A: Hey O, whatcha doin’ today?

O: I’m going to poop in a cannon!

……………………………..

In other news, Stitches begins tomorrow…I wish I was there with the rest of the crew! Fingers are crossed that it goes well for all of us…cannot wait to get the first reports…

When I have too much to think about, I often reach for the scissors. Usually, it all goes. Choppity chop. I resisted this evening, and only cut bangs in the hope it will see me through another awkward stage. My little sister-in-law grumbled and said I looked like a children’s book character that shall remain nameless.

She just told me to smile.

Also, I did a handstand for approximately half a second this afternoon (hey, it’s a start) and was then destroyed by the aforementioned sister-in-law with a session of our ongoing Tahitian dancing lessons. “Dance with me on you,” the boy said, hugging my legs. So I set him up on the floor with the odd-colored play dough we made the other day. It was supposed to be orange, but it looks more like lumps of sunburned flesh. No matter…my boy is into pink and thankfully doesn’t make that disturbing association.

Otherness of interest: I am one sale away from the 100 mark on Etsy! Small ‘taters, maybe, but it’s nice. Be the lucky number and enjoy some free shipping!

……………………………

Last thing, I swear:

I started a haiku journal…with the intention of writing one every day. With space for doodling.

long heavy mornings

inner space collecting dust

i need stronger tea

………………………….

Maybe tomorrow I should wait until the afternoon to write one. 🙂
